Anna Douglass regularly performs as guest Principal Horn in orchestras around the country, including BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Anna has toured in Japan with the London Symphony Orchestra, and in Thailand and Dubai with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Since winning the BBC Young Musician Brass Category in 2010, Anna has been awarded the Royal Academy of Music Dennis Brain Horn Prize in 2012, and the Bob Paxman Young Horn Players’ Fund Award in 2013, for which she received a custom-made Paxman horn. Anna has played as a soloist in the Wigmore Hall, Glamis Castle, and Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff, and she has performed Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings on Dennis Brain’s horn. Her concerto experience also includes Mozart Concerto No. 2 at St. Martin in the Fields and Strauss Concerto No. 2 in West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge.

A keen chamber musician, Anna has performed with Endymion around the country. Her trio, Ianthe Ensemble, has played Hugh Wood’s Horn Trio on BBC Radio 3, and Ligeti’s Horn Trio in Aylesbury. Anna is also a regular in film sessions, appearing on major soundtracks including Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Anna studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Richard Watkins, Michael Thompson, and Martin Owen.
